Tell Congress to classify the RSF militia as a foreign terrorist organization.
U.S. Congress

The war in Sudan has raged since April 2023. Millions of innocent people have been forced from their homes, thousands killed, and entire cities reduced to rubble. At the center of this devastation is the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia—a ruthless group driven by nothing but its hunger for power. The RSF has unleashed terror on the Sudanese people and partnered with foreign actors like Russia’s Wagner Group to tighten its grip on the country. This is not just a militia. This is terrorism.
That’s why Senator Jim Risch (R-Idaho), Chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has taken a critical stand. On August 1, he introduced an amendment to the FY2026 National Defense Authorization Act that would force a long-overdue assessment of the RSF—paving the way for its official designation as a **Foreign Terrorist Organization**. The amendment is now under debate, and the vote is coming.
The facts are undeniable. The RSF’s record of crimes reads like a horror story: mass rape, ethnic cleansing, looting, forced recruitment of civilians, and unlawful detentions. In Darfur, they have laid siege to El-Fashir, the last refuge for displaced families—starving millions in a man-made famine. The U.S. State Department has already declared the RSF guilty of genocide in Darfur. And the crimes don’t stop there. The RSF has brought in Colombian mercenaries, traded gold to bankroll Russia’s war in Ukraine, and stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Moscow against the free world.
This is a turning point. Passing this amendment will do more than label the RSF for what it is—it will protect U.S. national security, strike a blow against Russian influence in Africa, and give the Sudanese people a chance at peace, democracy, and dignity.
The world is watching. Congress must act now. Designate the RSF as a terrorist organization—before it launches its next genocide.

We demand the designation of the RSF militia as a foreign terrorist organization to protect the U.S. interests in Africa and help reduce the capabilities of the militia to commit more genocides in Darfur.
