Tell Congress to Reverse Trump’s Assault on Endangered Wildlife!

US Congress

A new bill in Congress called the Protect America’s Wildlife and Fish in Need of Conservation Act (PAW and FIN Conservation Act) would undo President Trump’s assault on the Endangered Species Act and remove the “for sale” sign he’s trying to hang on the habitats of threatened bears, wolves, whales, and other wildlife.

The Trump administration has dramatically weakened the Endangered Species Act, including rolling back vital protections for the habitats of threatened and endangered wildlife — pushing ecosystems to the brink and driving some of our most imperiled species further toward extinction. We must act now to stop this assault.

Dear Senator/Representative:

I urge you to support the Protect America's Wildlife and Fish in Need of Conservation Act (H.R. 4348/S. 2491) and do everything in your power to pass it into law immediately.

This important legislation would repeal the Trump administration's regulations gutting the Endangered Species Act, our most effective law for protecting species in danger of extinction. Trump's regulations give the drilling, mining, and logging industries the green light to destroy fragile wildlife habitats, and could drive iconic species like polar bears, humpback whales, and gray wolves to the brink of extinction.

Four out of five Americans support protecting the Endangered Species Act -- and this important bill would restore the law's vital protections for wildlife. Please do whatever you can to pass it without delay. Thank you.
