Tell Doug Ford: Health Care Workers Deserve A Raise!

Premier Doug Ford

During the COVID crisis, Ontario Premier Doug Ford offered some health care workers temporary pandemic pay increases but only for certain job categories and only for short periods of time.  This band-aid solution didn't go nearly far enough to address the chronic and dangerous staff shortage most Ontario hospitals, long-term care homes, home care agencies, and other health care settings contend with every day.

Short-staffing in Ontario health care settings is a growing and serious problem that impacts on the well-being of the most vulnerable among us and places both them and their caregivers in danger. The solution? Pay health care workers what they deserve!

Please sign this petition to tell Doug Ford to immediately provide all Ontario frontline health care workers in Ontario with a permanent pay increase of at least $3/hour to ensure that they are paid what they're worth and that people will continue to seek out careers in frontline health care.
