Tell G20 Trade Ministers: Fair Trade for Working Families!

G20 Trade Ministers

Trade officials from the biggest countries across the globe will meet in Milwaukee this fall to discuss the future of global trade.

Please join us in urging them to support a new model for trade that prioritizes the interests of working people and communities over billionaires and giant corporations.

The petition will be delivered to trade ministers meeting in Wisconsin in late September.

For too long, global trade policies have enabled greedy corporations to shift jobs from country to country in search of wherever workers are the most exploited and environmental regulations are the weakest. These trade deals have destroyed livelihoods, lowered wages, displaced families, weakened unions and increased pollution.

As G20 trade ministers gather in Milwaukee this fall, people in Wisconsin and around the world are demanding new rules for the global economy that prioritize good-paying jobs, worker rights, environmental protection, strong family farms, safe food, AI accountability and that otherwise put the interests of working people and communities ahead of billionaires and giant corporations. This new trade model is laid out in the "Fair Trade for Working Families" plan (H.Res. 1286).

We urge you to use the "Fair Trade for Working Families" blueprint in any current and future trade negotiations, and to stop pitting countries against one another in an ongoing race to the bottom.
