New Seasons Market was the first grocery store to be certified as a B-corp. They like to say that this means they care about people.
If that’s the case, why do they continue to stock Sabra Hummus, a brand tied directly to Israeli war crimes?
We wrote to New Seasons management to explain how selling Sabra products goes against their mission as a B-corp. They declined to remove those Sabra products, telling us that they preferred to “let the customer decide”.
Shouldn’t a company that allegedly wants to “harness the power of business as a force for good” take more responsibility for their relationship to genocide?
