Tell The Berkeley City Council: Adopt a Resolution Calling for the Immediate Release of Mahmoud Khalil
The Berkeley City Council
The illegal arrest of former Columbia graduate student and legal resident, Mahmoud Khalil, for participating in protests against the Israeli bombing of Gaza is a direct violation of the First Amendment. It's also a sign that more political repression is yet to be attempted under the current Trump administration.
As such, it is imperative that we encourage our local government to condemn these acts of state sanctioned violence. Please sign this petition urging the Berkeley City Council to adopt a resolution that calls for the immediate release of Mahmoud Khalil.
