Congress Must Act NOW: Demand Trump's Resignation!
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy
The office of president & AG cannot be used for political favors; this is a grave abuse of power and the kind of corruption that our constitution is designed to stop. Congress must demand Trump's resignation, stop slow walking, and bring impeachment to the floor before the end of the year. We the undersigned petition Congressional leadership to:
1. Demand the President's immediate resignation,
2. Conduct a thorough and fast-moving probe of his conduct via the House Judiciary committee, and
3. Bring Articles of Impeachment to the floor of the House of Representatives for a vote before the holiday recess at the end of 2019.

Dear Speaker Pelosi and Minority Leader McCarthy,
The revelations regarding the president's conduct with the president of Ukraine leave little doubt that the occupant of the White House has abused the power of the highest office in our nation to solicit personal political favors and swing our election his way. Congress has a constitutional obligation to move forward with impeachment with all deliberate speed. In light of Trump's continued and brazen abuses of power, ongoing corruption, and these recent attempts to strong arm a foreign country to investigate an opponent as a personal favor to him, we urge you to:
1. Demand the President's immediate resignation,
2. Conduct a thorough and fast-moving probe of his conduct via the House Judiciary committee, and
3. Bring Articles of Impeachment to the floor of the House of Representatives for a vote before the holiday recess at the end of 2019.
The very foundations of our country's constitutional framework are at stake. Congress must act decisively, swiftly, and with its full Constitutional authority to curb these abuses and restore the rule of law to the White House, so that the business of fighting for the changes our country so urgently needs can resume in 2020.
