Tell your Representatives: Codify Roe v. Wade!

Congress

Last month, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade, reversing nearly 50 years of precedent and eliminating the federal right to reproductive care.

Now, millions of women in Republican-controlled states across the country cannot make their own reproductive decisions. However, Congress has the power to codify Roe v. Wade, which would mean that a woman's right to an abortion is once again protected at the federal level.

In addition to codifying Roe, we're asking Congress to take additional action to better support women's reproductive decisions – whatever they may be. That includes expanding access to contraception, sex education, and programs that help support working families.

We demand imminent action to PROTECT and EXPAND our federal right to abortion care.

We call on Congress to take the following actions...

1. Vote to codify Roe v. Wade
2. Vote to expand sex education, access to contraception, and programs that help families with young children, like the Child Tax Credit
3. Vote to protect the privacy of people who use period tracking apps

SCOTUS' ruling on Roe v. Wade does not mean the end of abortion – it means the end of SAFE abortions for millions of women nationwide. It means we will go back to a time when women DIED of complications from unregulated procedures.

We will NOT go back and we will NOT back down.

So, we urge you to vote to codify Roe v. Wade, in addition to expanding access to contraception, sex education, and programs that help support working families.
