Lawrence VanDyke's radical history of siding with the gun industry and fighting against common sense safety measures disqualify him from the federal bench. He has said that "gun control laws are misdirected," opposes background checks, and admitted that he only resigned from the NRA so he wouldn't have to recuse himself from cases involving them.
