The Trump administration dealt a huge blow to the communities across our nation most impacted by air pollution and the climate crisis when they cruelly and callously decimated the Environmental Protection Agency's division tasked with protecting frontline communities. They laid off 280 scientists, experts and line employees, shuttering the entire Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights.
This decision flies in the face of EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin’s promise to protect access to "clean air, land, and water for every American."
