Your actions ensured that our Capitol remained a place where laws are respected and voices can be heard peacefully.

Today, in the face of countless agitators outside Congress, some brazenly displaying flags associated with terrorist organizations like Hamas, your unwavering resolve in defending our Capitol and responding to violent rioters with pepper spray demonstrated the strength and determination of the Capitol Police force. Your actions were crucial in deterring those antisemitic and anti-American individuals who sought to disrupt and cause harm.

Additionally, your assurance to arrest anyone who would seek to interrupt Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech reflects your dedication to protecting the rights of all to assemble and speak freely in our democratic society.
