THANK YOU for Biden Bucks, now America needs more!

President Joe Biden and Congress

President Joe Biden and the US Congress have passed the American Rescue Plan, a strong COVID-19 relief bill that takes many steps forward in helping families. The average family of four will see more than $7,500 in relief through direct relief payments, an expanded, fully-refundable Child Tax Credit, more unemployment benefits, and other help.

We believe this is a step forward, but it's still not enough to meet the scale of our dual public health and economic crises.

In the coming months, Congress will debate a pandemic recovery bill that is expected to include a long-term plan.

We continue to believe RECURRING checks are required — money that keeps coming until the public health and economic crises are over. And we think the Child Tax Credit provisions should be made permanent, providing monthly checks for most American families with kids.

Now is the time to lift up your voice to thank Congress and the President for taking action, and letting them know that we need a recovery bill that includes recurring direct checks that keep coming.

Recurring, direct checks will help our families and our economy, and give our struggling small businesses a chance to survive. With the slow vaccine rollout and the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to play havoc with our lives, we need Congress to take further action now.

Yes! I want to make my voice heard.

Dear President Biden & Members of Congress,

Thank you for passing the American Rescue Plan that includes direct relief payments, an expansion of the Child Tax Credit, more unemployment aid, and additional provisions that help American families.

As you look ahead, we support recurring direct checks and a permanent expansion of the fully-refundable Child Tax Credit because:

• Checks provide relief — for food, housing, the basics.
• Checks are the quickest and most effective way to get money into people’s pockets.
• Checks get spent, which boosts the economy and supports our communities.

I call on you to deliver the kind of relief most American families need to make it through these public health and economic crises. We need more help, and we need it every month.

Sincerely,
