Thank You President Obama!
President Obama
This week, in a speech in Elkhart, Indiana, President Obama announced his support for expanding Social Security:
"We can't afford to weaken Social Security, we should be strengthening Social Security. And not only do we need to strengthen its long term health, it’s time we finally made Social Security more generous and increased its benefits so that today’s retirees and future generations get the dignified retirement that they’ve earned. And we can start paying for it by asking the wealthiest Americans to contribute a little bit more.”

Thank you for taking a bold stance in support of expanding Social Security benefits. Right now, the average annual Social Security benefit of $14,375 isn’t cutting it for most retirees. We applaud you and stand with you in your call to expand Social Security for millions of current and future retirees.
