We are members of The Uncommons community. We value the contributions that you have made to the NYC gaming community and honor your part in that culture.

The employees of The Uncommons are forming a union alongside their sister board game stores, Hex & Co and the Brooklyn Strategist. As the owner, you have refused to respond to any of their requests for recognition. The entirety of their staff is on board, and yet you refuse to move forward.

The union is asking for a living wage, as well as improvements to the infrastructure of the store to maintain our health and safety. All of the workers enjoy the work that they do, and want to continue to do it and be able to take care of and support themselves at the same time.

Almost every employee participates in the community events they run in the store, and they want to continue to be a strong staple of the West Village. Greg May, we call on you to recognize Uncommons Workers United as a union and bargain with them in good faith.
