United Employee Sign On Letter

United Airlines Catering Operations Workers; CC: Mr. Oscar Munoz, CEO, United Airlines

AFA-CWA and ALPA members support our fellow United employees — Catering Operations workers in Cleveland, Denver, Honolulu, Houston, and Newark — in their organizing campaign to join UNITE HERE.

Following months of steadfast organizing, United Catering workers have finally been granted a union election! They will begin voting soon. We are ready to welcome them into the United union family and encourage them to VOTE YES for UNITE HERE!

They are fighting for a union to be treated as equals at United, with a safer workplace and respect and the job. Many still earn less than $12 per hour even after many years of service.

Please show your support for United Catering Ops workers by adding your name to encourage them to VOTE YES for UNITE HERE and join our United union family.

We also call on United corporate leadership to respect our brothers and sisters in catering by remaining neutral – no more anti-union materials, harassment or intimidation!

To all who have also joined the catering operations employees at their union meetings or rallies, thanks for your continued solidarity!
