Across the globe, fascists, imperialists and tech overlords are on the rise. Xi wants to lead an autocratic world order, Putin wants to dominate Europe, and Trump only wants what's best for Trump.
Meanwhile in Europe, our leaders fail to act on the big problems we face, whether that is the climate crisis, poverty and inequality or migration. Extremist forces grow as a result. We fail to stop wars and crimes against humanity taking place on our doorstep.
The European Union is stuck. Do we want to move backwards or forward?
Europe's potential is unlimited, but will never be unlocked unless we truly unite.
Nine out of ten Europeans want our countries to be more united. To be strong enough to deliver on the huge challenges we face, Europe needs to become more like a country: a Federal Europe, a United States of Europe!
Our goal is simple: to give power to the European people. We demand that national leaders take decisions that will:
Abolish the national vetocracy: Europe should make decisions based on the democratic will of its people, instead of the most problematic national leader in the room!
Elect a European government: Europe should be governed by people you vote for, who have the power to take decisive action and speak with one voice in the world!
Empower Europe to act: Europe should be able to defend itself with its own army, fund its ambitions with one treasury, and protect democracy and the law!
If we do this, Europe will become a more diverse, safe and prosperous continent for all.
European Leaders, the time to create a United States of Europe is now!
What we will do with your signature
We want to reconfirm what we already know: that millions of Europeans want to unite, because we are Europe. The louder our voices, the more likely that national leaders cannot ignore us anymore. We will update you regularly about our campaign, including events you can participate in. Before every next summit of national leaders, we will demand they take concrete action. On the 9th of May 2026, Europe Day, the campaign will culminate in activities across Europe and we will present the petition.

Push for more ambitious laws in the European Parliament to unite Europe
Urge decision makers in the Member States and EU institutions to act
Work with civil society, media and other actors to raise public pressure
