Vote NO on $200 billion to Wage War On Iran

Senators Hassan and Shaheen, Representatives Pappas and Goodlander

The U.S. and Israel have started an illegal, unconstitutional war of choice on Iran.

The U.S. military struck nearly 2,000 targets in the first 100 hours. Thousands more bombs and missiles have been dropped across the region since. Thousands are dead, including hundreds of children. The rain in Tehran turned black, and the air was “unbreathable” after Israeli military strikes targeted a fuel depot. Millions are displaced. This conflict now includes 14 countries and is triggering a global energy crisis.

We will suffer the consequences of more war: climate, environmental, economic and our own safety in a world that grows more hostile towards the U.S. and increasingly likely to see the use of nuclear weapons.

We need to keep the pressure on our representatives to vote NO to supporting and funding this violence. NH Representatives spoke out against this unauthorized war. Now they must vote against the $200 billion supplemental funding bill soon to come, which is on top of the $1.5 trillion military budget proposed for 2027.  The human and ecological cost of war is unconscionable - the diversion of funds from other needs compounds the crime.

We do not want a war with Iran! We urge you to take bold action to stop it, and oppose any supplemental funding for this disastrous war. Now is the time to prioritize diplomacy, de-escalation, and the protection of human lives.

The U.S. has spent decades and trillions of dollars on wars in the Middle East, with devastating consequences for civilians abroad and communities here at home. We are tired of forever wars.

Vote NO on supplemental funding bill for this war.
