Thank you for your work on gun safety, Sen. Sinema. Let's keep moving forward.
Sen. Kyrsten Sinema
Senator Sinema took the lead in crafting the bipartisan framework that will soon become the first gun safety law to pass in several decades. Sinema needs to know that, when she does the right thing, Arizona veterans will have her back. This bill doesn't solve every problem, but it's a good start.

As Arizona residents and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, we served to protect the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment. We support the right to bear arms. Many of us are gun owners -- and much of what we know about guns and gun safety we learned in the military.
We want to thank you for taking the lead in crafting and negotiating the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, which is the first major gun safety legislation passed in the U.S. Senate in decades. Coming from a profession of arms, we see the value in each proposal within this package.
There is still a lot more work to be done, Senator. But know this: when you do the right thing, Arizona's veterans will have your back. Thank you for your effort. We are excited to see this bipartisan measure become law, and look forward to seeing more common-sense gun safety measures in the future.
