We, the undersigned employees of the City of Virginia Beach, keep this city operating and beautiful every day, yet we are not compensated properly. Therefore, we demand the following:

1) Family-Supporting Wages!
a) Raise minimum wage for city employees to $20 per hour, &
b) 10% Cost-of-Living Increase including funding Step Pay Plan.

2) Ending the Unfair Benefits, bringing all current employees off the hybrid PTO plan by awarding all staff paid sick leave, vacation and short term disability leave.

3) 12 Weeks of Paid Parental Leave for employees to take after the birth or adoption of a child.

4) Recognizing Seniority for scheduling of shifts and weekends.
