Waffle House – World Cup 2026 Petition
Waffle House
Sign the petition to support Waffle House and other service workers during the World Cup!
This summer, hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world will be coming to the World Cup in Atlanta, the headquarter city of Waffle House. Companies like Waffle House are spending big on preparations, but what are they doing to support the working people of Atlanta?
While big-name corporations prepare to profit from the games, working class people still struggle to afford rent, groceries, childcare, and healthcare. The minimum wage for restaurant servers remains $2.13 an hour, and even the highest paid Waffle House cooks make less than a living wage.
Waffle House can afford to pay their workers enough to live but choose not to. It’s time to get organized, fight back and end poverty wages for workers in the South.
And if you're a Waffle House worker, we especially want to hear from you!
We’re demanding:
• A minimum wage of at least $25 for all Waffle House servers and cooks.
• Paycheck transparency for Waffle House servers, including clear indications of workers pay without bonuses.
• An end to the meal credit deductions – make them optional, not mandatory!
