Water for the people now!

Bernalillo County Commissioners, WALH Developers, US Senators Tom Udall & Martin Heinrich, Congresswoman Deb Haaland

The 2,000 Native American residents of To’hajiilee have an opportunity to bring clean, potable water to their community.

The Albuquerque-Bernalillo Co. Water Authority is ready to connect them, and the To'hajiilee chapter has the funds for the new water line. Unfortunately, a single landowner on the West Mesa of Albuquerque, Western Albuquerque Land Holdings (WALH) is preventing a water line easement from passing through a few miles of their undeveloped desert property.

No one should have to go without clean running drinking water.

Take a stand with our To'hajiilee neighbors and demand the developer grant the right of way for access to clean water.

As our elected leaders, we ask you to stand with us for our To'hajiilee neighbors and help us stop developers from blocking essential water.
