We need a more affordable San Francisco!

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors

San Francisco requires 82,000 homes by 2031, yet in 2023 San Francisco only managed to complete 2,000 homes. At that rate it will take us 4 decades to meet the obligations for housing we are supposed to meet in less than a decade.

For decades, our city has historically underbuilt homes, leading to skyrocketing rents and displacement. To reverse this trend, we need to demand that our city take the housing shortage seriously and make it easier to build the homes that we need for our city to get back to being the thriving, vibrant, inclusive city we all love.

Demand that the city of San Francisco speed up housing production and make it easier to build the homes we so desperately need. Sign our petition today!

We demand the City and County of San Francisco take action now to get back on track and build the homes we need. The Board of Supervisors must act quickly to enact legislation which will kickstart housing construction again and help make San Francisco more affordable!
