As one of San Francisco’s largest nonprofit newsrooms, Mission Local has come a long way from the small Berkeley project it started out as. Workers at Mission Local have uncovered important untold stories, exposed injustices and revealed corruption. We have won national awards, and more recently, have grown dramatically. Now, we take another step: we’re forming a union, as a part of the Pacific Media Workers Guild Local 39521 The NewsGuild - Communication Workers of America.
