Will you continue to support access to abortion care in Texas?
Families, Friends and Communities in solidarity with Texas
When Texas HB 2 first passed, we had 40 clinics serving our state. The recent ruling of the Fifth Circuit Court to uphold HB 2 means all but seven clinics in the state will close. When a pregnant person needs to end their pregnancy, it is important they have access to safe medical care. Let’s be clear-- this bill places an undue burden on Texans and will, without question, hurt our communities. The closure of these clinics is unjust. A person experiencing an unintended pregnancy, struggling to keep food on the table or pay rent will no longer have the option to plan a future. Instead, many of us will be forced to make a decision to merely survive in the short term. This not what Texas families deserve.
We send support to the funds in our Texas family The Lilith Fund for Reproductive Equity, Texas Equal Access Fund, and Fund Texas Choice. We send our love and positivity to the amazing providers and collectives who serve our people. But make no mistake, we are also pissed. And we need your help more than ever.
Will you add your name to the list below and let us know that you support us in this movement?

Decisions about whether to choose adoption, end a pregnancy, or raise a child are better left to a pregnant person and their family. It’s not our place to take away the decision by passing restrictions to make abortion harder to get or more costly.
We should be working to eliminate barriers to abortion access, not erecting more barriers to care. Difficulty paying for an abortion shouldn’t be a barrier to health care. That is why I am in solidarity with the West Fund and will continue to fight for justice in Texas!
Sincerely,
