We are a group of progressive people in Oak Bay who look at our community and see potential for it to be even better. We listen and hear the silence where many voices and perspectives are missing from conversations about the future of our community.

We recognize capacity in Oak Bay for growth, change, greater diversity, and new perspectives. We would like to see our community offer more:

• participatory, community-led initiatives that listen to less-heard voices in our community (such as renters, children, young families, low-income people, racialized people, people with disabilities, and 2SLGBTQIA+ people),
• programs and spaces for new parents, children, and youth,
• opportunities for inter-generational connection,
• effort and transparency towards Truth and Reconciliation,
• accessible and affordable bus, walk, and bike routes and services, and
• openness to new ideas!

We are trying to connect with others -- hopefully including you -- who imagine a more inclusive, loving, joyful Oak Bay, and are willing to collaborate to make it happen.
