The Providence Alliance for Student Safety (PASS) coalition was formed in 2018 with the launch of the Counselors Not Cops campaign. Since then, PASS has worked to remove School Resource Officers (SROs) from Providence Public Schools and replace them with counselors who could support student dignity, health, and well-being. The coalition is currently in a season of reimagining what our campaigns and ultimately our work will look like, and we will need you and your voices and visions as young people to do this. Signing up for our base list means you are interested in and committed to engaging with our efforts to build the collective power of youth to rethink safety in our community.
