Show Up for Housing: How can N4MN Volunteers get involved in the 2026 Legislative Session?

Graphic of volunteer opportunities with N4MN

In just a few weeks, on February 17th, the Minnesota Legislature will reconvene and consider several important pro-homes and zoning issues supported by Neighbors for More Neighbors and the Yes to Homes Coalition.

Our state policy work can make a real difference to help legislators understand why we need to build more homes of different shapes and sizes across Minnesota to address the 100,000+ home shortage we are currently experiencing.

Sign up to help pass these ambitious policies to address the urgent need for more homes for our neighbors. There are so many ways you can get involved - and each of them is meaningful and important. Whether you want to work behind the scenes, write emails, make phone calls, attend an event, or all of the above, we need you to get involved in 2026!

The session will last from February through May, and we’ll need people to help out whenever they can, however they can.

If you would like to learn more about any of these commitments, please contact Angela at angela@moreneighbors.org.
