Register now for the 2025 Ads for Organizing Cohort, running September 10-November 12! This comprehensive training program will help your organization build power through digital ads on Meta, Google, and other platforms by generating leads, growing dues-paying membership, and mobilizing supporters to take real-world action. Participants will get individual support, access to recorded content and templates, and learn from a range of exciting labor and issue campaigns, including some of our most exciting ones this year:
- Organizing rideshare app drivers to take on Uber and Lyft – from Virginia to Chicago.
- Using digital storytelling to build a base of warehouse workers to confront Amazon’s record of covering up injuries.
- Mobilizing vulnerable community members to fight for community benefits agreements in exploitive industries across the South.
- Changing the national narrative on the value of childcare and early education.
- Converting Michigan voters into engaged volunteers.
- Learning from folks disaffected with the Democratic Party to help shape party strategy after the 2024 election.

What’s Included?
- 9 group training sessions (each 1.5 to 2 hours)
- 4 office hours sessions to get individual feedback and support (optional but strongly recommended) from experts in different areas of online to offline organizing
- Workbook with templates to guide you through the ad campaign development process during and after the program
- Supplementary recorded trainings on topics to take your ads game to the next level
- 1-hour individual coaching session for each participating organization post-program
Curriculum
Throughout the program, participants will:
- Develop an ads strategy for their organization to build their target base of workers or other constituents.
- Set up their organization and appropriate staff to run ad campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
- Develop foundational skills in ad content and audience creation.
- Develop, launch, and optimize an ad campaign by the end of the cohort (on Meta for beginners or other platforms for participants at the intermediate level).
- Build a clear, sustainable workflow and data management practices between ad campaign managers and field organizers to support effective outreach and moving new contacts into your ladder of engagement.
- Share learnings, get feedback, and collaborate with knowledgeable organizations across the cohort.
Schedule
Our curriculum is spread over a 10-week timeline to allow participants enough time between sessions to balance assignments with their existing workload. However, if you are working on an accelerated timeline and have additional capacity, our staff can guide you on how to launch your campaign sooner.

Pricing
The cost to participate in the cohort is $1,200 per person. Organizations that send more than one participant will receive a $200 per person discount. Organizations with budgets under $750,000 can reach out to katie@o2ostrategy.org to apply for an additional discount. (The true cost per participant is $1,400, so we encourage organizations that fund movement work to pay at this rate.)
