We are excited to invite you to join the Coalition for Economic Justice (CEJ) in honoring Bridge Rauch, Organizer for the Clean Air Coalition, Hyatt Workers United, and Della Miller, at our Annual Awards Celebration on September 23rd, 5:30-8pm. We’re pleased to be holding this year’s event at TriMain (2495 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14214), the site of one of CEJ’s founding fights.

Receiving the Joan Malone Award, Bridge Rauch is an Environmental Justice Organizer with the Clean Air Coalition and has made a name for themselves as a knowledgeable and fierce advocate for sustainable communities. This year we are so proud to be presenting the Rev Robert Beck Award to Ms Della Miller. Founded Community First Communications, a part of Black Farmers United for NYS, sits on the advisory board for Buffalo Food Equity Network which is part of Food for the Spirit, responsible for the food cooperative commissary for Broadway Market, and so much more in the fight for food justice in Buffalo. Finally, the Campaign of the Year Award will be presented to Hyatt Workers United who did not let a big name in development or Buffalo’s winter stop them from standing out front with Scabby the Rat to make sure everyone knew what kind of employer the Hyatt has been.
