We will be joined by Rep. Ayanna Pressley for a conversation about climate activism and the role we can play in the fight against fossil fuels.

Climate Defiance is a new, youth-led activist group and we are making people in power quake.

The leading climate and clean energy trade publication E&E News wrote: "With its public displays of opposition, the activist group Climate Defiance is elevating environmental concerns with Biden to the political spotlight arguably unlike any other group in the ideologically varied tableau of U.S. environmental groups."

We do not go along to get along. We do not sit in cubicles circulating petitions and signing coalition letters. We block doors. We crash galas. We shut down speeches at think tanks and hotels and conferences and fundraisers and Congressional office buildings. We act like our very lives are on the line because they are.  

We do direct action. We get in the face of climate criminals and politicians who enable them, call them out for their misdeeds, and share videos of them fleeing in disgrace.

And we get results.

• We played a major role in the White House's decision to pause the CP2 LNG project, a huge victory for climate activists.
• The New York Times has mentioned our group, in multiple articles.
• We have been covered by hundreds of media outlets including The New Republic, Rolling Stone, SF Chronicle, Politico, and The Washington Post
• We have reached over 65,000,000 impressions on Twitter, organically.
• Deputy Interior Secretary Tommy Beaudreau (who signed Willow) resigned 15 days after we protested him.
• Jody Freeman resigned from Conoco just weeks after we protested her.
