COJWJ will be hosting our ninth annual Scrooge of the Year party. This is a way to celebrate our collective work, its member unions, and organizations while raising money for the vital work ahead and, of course, have a lot of fun together!

Here's how it works: member unions and organizations that are sponsoring the event have the opportunity to nominate an individual for the dubious title of Scrooge of the Year. Whether it's a CEO, anti-worker politician, right-wing operative, or some other kind of fat cat, this is your opportunity to call out the people who have done the most to harm the working class people of Colorado over the past year. Sponsors receive a number of tickets, and attendees will be able to vote for their "favorite" Scrooge on the night of the event, once nominating organizations have presented the case for their Scrooge. The organization that nominated the "winning" Scrooge will receive an action organized by JWJ with the direction of the nominating organization!

Here's where you come in: With your Community Supporter ticket, you will receive ten votes so that you can help determine Colorados Scrooge of the Year. We look forward to your participation in Scrooge of the Year 2021; it's the perfect way to cap off a year of fighting and organizing for racial, economic, and gender justice.
