Carl Redwood, Jr. is a community organizer, social worker, teacher, union member, intersectional feminist, revolutionary Black nationalist, and a socialist who has spent decades fighting to put people over profit across our county, across our country, and around the world.

Carl is running to put people over profits in Allegheny County. He's fighting for housing for all, clean air and water, a livable climate, and divesting from the police and prison industrial complex and investing in health and safety for all.

Supporting Carl's campaign to put people over profits in Allegheny County is supporting the fight to put people over profits in Philadelphia! Many of the policies Carl Redwood is fighting for, from rent control to taxing the rich to raising the minimum wage to at least $25 an hour, will require building support across Pennsylvania to fight back against pre-emption from the state, and he is committed to using his platform and policy to build power for the working class to take on the rich and powerful at every level of government.
