Are you ready to take your activism to the next level? Join us for an exciting two-part workshop that delves into the heart of Kingian Nonviolence, where you’ll learn powerful tools to strengthen your campaigns and build deeper, more resilient movements!

Dates & Times:

  • Part 1: Tuesday, November 19th at 6am NZST / 11am PDT / 2pm EDT / 8pm CET
  • Part 2: Thursday, November 21st at 6am NZST / 11am PDT / 2pm EDT / 8pm CET

In this dynamic workshop, you'll engage with:

  • An overview of Kingian Nonviolence, drawing from a rich tradition of peace-building and justice
  • A discussion on group values, exploring how we can align our principles for effective collaboration
  • An introduction to the Six Principles of Nonviolence, essential for creating meaningful change
  • Insight into group dynamics and how to build strong, supportive relationships within your projects

This is more than a workshop—it's an invitation to step beyond tactical nonviolence and into a deeper tradition rooted in long-term resilience. Now, more than ever, we need to strengthen our internal cultures and foster the connections that will sustain us through the challenging work of resistance. This workshop will empower you with the skills and knowledge to create lasting, impactful movements.

We saw a glimpse of this power during the 60-minute presentation (including Q&A) by the Connecticut Center for Nonviolence on October 10th, 2024 ( https://youtu.be/32QTpUGffAI ) . The session introduced their mission and sparked valuable reflections from European project participants on how this training could foster more resilient organizations. One participant beautifully stated, "This tradition gives us a really strong and bold set of principles and narratives that can compete with the fascist traditions and their bombastic narratives." The benefits of this approach in creating sustainable, justice-driven movements cannot be overstated!

Course Fee: With 20 participants, the fee will be $45 USD per person, with all proceeds going to the Connecticut Center for Nonviolence (CTCN), our expert facilitators. If more people join, you’ll receive a partial reimbursement!

Once you’ve submitted your fee, you’ll receive a registration link to join the Zoom sessions.

Let’s come together to build the future we want to see. We can’t wait to see you there!

In Solidarity, Jesper and Giacomo from Resilient Uprising
