Where will you be when we demand the release of the imprisoned migrant children? There are two vigils in our area and a bus going to Homestead Migrant Detention Center on July 12^th. Activists from all over the country will protest at each and every “shelter” and facility, lighting candles at 9PM, Hundreds of solidarity vigils are being planned. Where will you demand justice?

Homestead activists have asked that we minimize the number of cars to the event, so please, take the bus if you are going. Tickets are $20 but a generous donor has paid for a limited number of seats – please indicate if you need one of those seats. Local immigration activist, Angela Cisneros will ride the bus with you, answering questions about the center, teaching you Spanish chants that the children will hear, and leading protest songs to prepare you. Naples Vigil will be at UUCGN at 8 PM and go until 9:15PM. Speakers from the immigrant rights movement and faith leaders will lead the vigil. Candles will be lit at 9PM. Arrive early.

Ft. Myers vigil will be at Unitarian Universalist Church of Ft. Myers. 7PM to 9PM
