Learn how to prepare for powerful meetings with public officials, including setting a strong agenda and clear goals, understanding how it fits into a campaign, framing an "ask" and who to bring.

Facilitated by Ursula Rozum, the Upstate Campaign Coordinator for Campaign for New York Health (CNYH), the statewide coalition dedicated to passing and implementing legislation for universal single-payer healthcare. Ursula has 10 years of professional and volunteer experience on electoral and issue-based campaigns.

There is a sliding scale fee of $0-$20 to attend. Please pay what you can, and don't let the cost keep you away if you'd like to come! Registration is limited to 20 people.

The workshop is part of the series Activist Skillbuilding for Justice, held from February-April 2020. It is organized by RiseUp for Social Action and co-sponsored by the Syracuse Center for Peace and Social Justice.
