Join the BC Climate Emergency Campaign for a fun night of community building, food, and square dancing. These are challenging times and we need joy and community more than ever. So put aside your worries for a night and have some fun with friends and comrades! Dinner is included (with vegetarian and vegan options). There will also be a “best dressed in the west” costume contest, so show us your best western/barnyard style!

Friends and family welcome (but ensure they RSVP so we do not go over capacity). Bring a partner or find one there! No square dance experience necessary and dancing will be called in a non-gendered way.

This is a child-friendly event.

About the ticket prices:

Ticketing for this event is "pay what you can." If the cost is inaccessible to you, please contact coordinator@bcclimateemergency.ca and we will help you access a ticket.

All of the ticket sales will go towards the Lax'yip Firekeepers, a Gitxsan youth-led organization committed to protecting Gitxsan homelands, revitalizing Gitxsan culture, and uplifting all youth living on Gitxsan territory.

The venue is wheelchair accessible. There is a ramp at the front entrance and no stairs into the small hall, as it is on the main floor. The washrooms are also accessible and on the main floor. The windows will be opened for airflow and masks are welcome. Air purifiers will also be running.
