Minnesota’s Next Generation of Leadership Starts Here

Step into your leadership on October 24–25 at a powerful one-and-a-half-day training designed for women and gender-expansive leaders—whether you're preparing to run for office or managing a campaign that makes change happen.

This skills-driven, inspiration-filled experience is for both candidates ready to run and campaign managers ready to win. You’ll leave with practical tools, clear next steps, and a community to support your journey—all grounded in your values and your community.

What to Expect:
  • Expert-Led Training: Engage with Vote Run Lead (VRL/A)’s nationally recognized curriculum, led by certified trainers.
  • Real Talk from Elected Officials: Hear candid insights on leadership in today’s political climate.
  • Build Your Network: Connect with a statewide community of like-minded changemakers.
Training Schedule:
Day 1 – Friday, October 24 | 1:00–5:00 PM
Begin by grounding yourself in your leadership story and purpose—what brought you to this moment to Run As You Are.

Day 2 – Saturday, October 25 | 8:30 AM–5:45 PM
Deep dive into campaign strategy, messaging, fundraising, and base-building. (Breakfast, lunch, and breaks provided.)

Accommodations:
Need a place to stay?
  • Financial assistance for hotel accommodations is available—just indicate your need on the registration form.
  • A discounted group rate of $122 per night for King rooms with sofa sleepers and $139 per night for standard Two-Queen rooms (plus tax) is available on Friday and Saturday nights.
  • You may arrive Friday afternoon or early Saturday morning. Check-out is by Sunday, October 26. Note: Rooms are limited. Reserve by October 10th to secure your group rate.

All training registration fees are subsidized and offered at reduced cost with adjusted fees, as needed, to ensure that cost is not a barrier for participation. Participants choose the level of registration fee based on their capacity to pay.
