Are you trying to build power within your union? Is there a sense of apathy where you work? Looking for ways to bring your coworkers together so you can fight back against oppression from management?

Members of Austin Young Active Labor Leaders, Austin Democratic Socialists of America and Fight for 15 Texas are coming together in April to deliver a one-day training based on the Labor Notes book "Secrets of a Successful Organizer." This training will show you how to build the strength of your union and fight back where you work. You’ll learn how to identify the key issues in your workplace, build campaigns to tackle them, anticipate management’s tricks and traps, and inspire your co-workers to stand together despite their fears.

We encourage both organized and unorganized workers to attend, ALL experience levels!

Check-in begins at 8am and the training will begin at 9am. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

To cover training materials and lunch, tickets are $20 to attend. You will make the donation when you register. If you cannot make the $20 donation, contact us and we can work out a sliding scale.
