Workplace abuse doesn’t just damage careers — it fractures identity, health, and self-trust. In this powerful and deeply human talk, Jeffrey Jacobs shares his lived experience inside a toxic institutional system that weaponized authority through retaliation, gaslighting, isolation, and narrative distortion. Rather than staying silent, he transformed his experience into a roadmap for healing.

Jacobs introduces the TRUTH Framework — Tell the Truth, Reflect on the Root, Unlearn the Lie, Transform the Wound, and Heal Aloud — a practical model designed to help targets of workplace abuse rebuild confidence, reclaim their voice, and restore their sense of self. Blending personal narrative, actionable strategies, and emotional validation, this session equips participants with language that replaces shame with clarity and confusion with understanding.

Attendees will learn how to separate their identity from what was done to them, navigate the psychological and physical impact of institutional harm, recognize abusive patterns early, and move from survival to advocacy without losing themselves. This talk is not just about surviving workplace abuse — it is about reclaiming power, rewriting the story, and discovering that healing is real, possible, and shared.

Jeffrey Jacobs is an author, educator, strategist, and workplace abuse survivor who turned adversity into advocacy. After nearly two decades serving in New York City Public Schools as a teacher, assistant principal, and district leader supporting 26 schools, he began speaking openly about his experience with systemic retaliation and institutional harm to help others reclaim their voice. He is the Founder and Visionary Strategist of Jacobs Unlimited, creator of the TRUTH Framework, and host and editor of the upcoming Be Unlimited! Podcast and Newsletter, respectively. Through his writing, speaking, and forthcoming book Speak Truth, Inspire Change, and Be Unlimited, Jacobs equips individuals with practical tools to heal, reclaim their power, and rewrite the narratives abusive systems tried to impose on them.
