10/19/26 UPDATE - ALL HANDS ON DECK: Right now members of the House and Senate Armed Services Committees and other leaders in Congress are negotiating the final bill text of the FY27 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). This negotiation period presents our biggest opportunity to shut down the Deadly Merger provisions (Section 219 in the House bill and Section 1217 in the Senate bill) before the NDAA becomes law. As lawmakers work to merge the Senate and House versions of the bill, Representative Ro Khanna's office is circulating a letter calling for the Deadly Merger provision's removal. Call your representatives today to urge them to sign Rep Khanna's letter and publicly oppose any policies that deepen U.S. complicity in Israel’s ongoing genocide against the people of Gaza.

Buried within the annual U.S. military spending bill is a chilling AIPAC-backed proposal, dubbed "the Deadly Merger,” that would integrate the U.S. and Israeli militaries (Section 219 in the House and Section 1217 in the Senate.)

In total, the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) would:

1. Increase military spending to a whopping budget of $1.15 trillion.
2. Integrate U.S. and Israeli military technology, intelligence systems, and research through "data fusion" and weapons co-production.
3. Rob voters of transparency and accountability by shielding the deadly U.S.-Israel military merger from Congressional oversight.
