DSA for Cuba

Cuba has struggled under an illegal U.S. blockade for over 60 years, exacerbated by the Trump administration's new sanctions and re-designation of Cuba as a State Sponsor of Terror.
DSA is fighting to end the blockade. The first step is to remove Cuba from the State Sponsor of Terror list and begin the process of normalizing relations.
Here's how to participate in our campaign:
- Sign up to get involved in DSA's Cuba Solidarity Working Group.
- Take your first action by telling your representatives to vote NO on the FORCE Act, and stop using Cuba as a political pawn. Cuba is suffering from a devastating series of shortages caused by the United States' immoral blockade, and far-right Republicans are trying to worsen conditions by passing the FORCE Act, which would keep strict economic sanctions in place and prevent the reversal of Cuba's false State Sponsors of Terror designation. Tell your representatives to end their economic war on Cuba and engage with diplomacy, not force!
- Use our toolkit to set up a constituent meeting with your congresspeople to discuss removing Cuba from the State Sponsor of Terror List and normalizing diplomatic relations. After you've done so, use our form to report back and let us know how it went.
