Starbucks Workers United Strike Solidarity Campaign

MDC DSA Labor Logo

On November 5th, 92% of unionized Starbucks baristas voted to authorize a nationwide strike, which kicked off on November 13th. It has been more than a year since the company stopped bargaining in good faith with its workers to raise wages, expand benefits, and improve working conditions. Over 1,000 Starbucks Workers United (SBWU) members in 19 cities across 14 states went on the picket line on November 13th—and more locations are joining each week—they are asking for you to stand in solidarity with them for as long as it takes to get a fair contract signed!

Unless the company comes to the table, we know that SBWU members will keep organizing, escalating, and fighting back. This page will be regularly updated with opportunities to support Starbucks workers in the DMV region.
