Thursday marks an important milestone - the 61st anniversary of the passage of Medicaid and Medicare!

In Connecticut, this are even more special, because Medicaid is our HUSKY program – which covers one in five births, and 22% of all state residents, including people in every single city and town.

Unfortunately, many people on HUSKY don’t realize that HUSKY is Medicaid - and that the federal budget passed last year threatens coverage for tens of thousands of people, with new work requirements and eligibility changes.

Join us Thursday for a celebration of HUSKY health coverage, and for a call to action!

We will celebrate HUSKY in Connecticut, share information to help people on HUSKY make sure they have the information they need to help retain coverage, and call on leaders to protect the HUSKY we all know and love.
