Across the country—from the fruit fields in California to classrooms in Chicago, from kitchens in Queens to loading docks in Atlanta—working people are uniting. We are calling for stronger neighborhoods, safer workplaces and communities, and better wages for all working families. But we can't achieve this without your support!

Commemorating the sacrifices of workers who fought for the eight-hour workday, going back to the 19th century, May Day 2025 will span over 100 cities and carry on the legacy of those workers by fighting for a country and world that is more fair, just, equitable, and free for all its people—and not just a chosen few.

Together, we will rally with laborers, parents, community members, students, and everyday people who are coming together and raising their voices for better, and stronger communities–places that center the needs of working families, neighborhood public schools, affordable housing and access to high-quality healthcare above the interests of millionaires and billionaires and their corporations.

The recent chaos unleashed by Trump and Musk has been devastating to federal workers and public programs in particular. They want to erase labor rights, break our unions, and silence our voices. They want to escalate the persecution of migrants, regardless of their status. They want to intensify the U.S.-backed genocide in Palestine. This May Day, we are standing united. We will significantly change how we approach the needs of working families by breaking down some of the walls and building working class solidarity between community and labor and between workers here and around the world. This event opens up the possibility to establish a coalition of scale needed for an ongoing response. May Day is just the beginning. We will move our nation towards a society that focuses on the rights and well-being of those who work for a living.
