Help build our People's Self-Defense Network!

The increased policing and passage of Secure DC is yet another example of the continued perpetual war against Black people, Black youth, and working-class communities in D.C. We know that we must build real safety for our people. Join us for an IN-PERSON interactive CopWatch Training to build community defense, community safety, and community power!

IN-PERSON CopWatch Training

What is CopWatch?
The foundations of our self-defense organizing must first and foremost be about building community.

We understand CopWatch as collectives that focus on monitoring the police and other law enforcement agencies operating in our communities, documenting their activities, and when necessary, intervening to prevent state abuses and repression.*

We CopWatch to build and empower community, to be in solidarity with members experiencing police harassment and violence, and to shift the power away from police.
