Sign Up to Canvass for DC Statehood!

Tourists from across the country will soon be visiting DC for a series of Federal-government sponsored events. Here at Rising Organizers, we know how important it is for us to engage visitors to DC in conversations about what freedom means to them, to us, and how we can build toward a more free future together.

When you sign up to canvass with us, you will engage visitors in conversations about DC statehood, voting rights, and the future of American democracy. By signing up for a canvassing shift, you're helping share DC's story with people from across the country and building support for full voting rights and statehood.

All volunteers are required to complete a canvassing training before participating.

Please:

• Select all canvassing shifts you're interested in attending. We encourage you to join us for multiple shifts if you can!

• Select one mandatory training session.

To ensure the safety and integrity of this project, all participants will be vetted by the Rising Organizers team. Please register using your first and last name so we can verify your identity and provide additional information about canvassing opportunities. This does not need to be your legal name, but it should be a name we can use to confirm your identity.

Additional logistical details, including training and canvassing locations, will be shared after the vetting process is complete.
