Join us for the Duke Street Land Use Plan's third community meeting, focused on housing and mobility. This meeting is a critical opportunity to shape the future of Duke Street as an affordable, vibrant heart of Alexandria.

Food, childcare, and Spanish interpretation will be provided.

7:00 p.m.: Presentation and Q&A (also online via Zoom - link not yet available).

Getting there:

Patrick Henry Rec Center is accessible by bus, bike, or car.

Bus: All of the Duke Street buses stop nearby. The WMATA buses terminate at King St Station, DASH 30 stops at King St and terminates at Braddock Road
-DASH 30 (free), WMATA 29K and 29N: Get off at Duke & Jordan Street and walk 0.5 miles.
-WMATA 28A: get off at N Jordan & Taney Ave and walk 0.3 miles.
- WMATA 8W: get off at Taney Ave & N Howard, which is basically right out front

Bike: From Holmes Run Trail, Turn onto N Latham Street (quiet neighborhood road). Ride until Taney Ave, where you'll see the rec center. To get to bike parking turn right on Taney (painted lanes) for about a block, then turn left into the parking lot. There is bike parking near the rec center entrance. You can also proceed straight down N Latham and take the ramp up from the sidewalk to the entrance & bike parking.

Car: There's a big, free parking lot.
