Join Rising Organizers for a day of reflection and conversation at the Frederick Douglass National Historic Site.
We’ll begin with a guided tour of Frederick Douglass’ historic home, followed by a public panel with movement and democracy leaders exploring the past, present, and future of American democracy.
Together, we’ll reflect on how struggles for freedom have shaped where we are today—and what it will take to build a fair, multi-racial democracy moving forward.
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of their own role in advancing democratic change and collective power.
Panelists include:
Judy Richardson, SNCC Legacy Project Board Member and former SNCC member
