Meet the Reluctant Radical: Movie and Q&A with Ken Ward & Lindsey Grayzel
Start: Sunday, April 22, 2018• 6:00 PM

Have you ever thought about putting your freedom on the line to stop climate change? Ken Ward has. Ken is one of the "valve turners" who was arrested and prosecuted for closing the emergency valve on oil sands pipelines in October 2016. He argued in court that the urgency of climate change compelled him to act.
"The Reluctant Radical" follows Ken as he confronts his fears and struggles to find an effective way to combat climate change. Director Lindsey Grayzel was also arrested and charged for filming the valve turners. Following the movie, we will have a virtual Q&A with Ken Ward himself and director Lindsey Grayzel.
This event is co-sponsored by 350 Indiana-Calumet and the First Unitarian Church of Hobart Faith in Action Ministry. The event will be hosted by P.A.R.C. (Politics Art Roots Culture), 1713 Franklin St., Michigan City, IN.
