On Saturday, October 10, DSA members will rally with National Nurses United and other members of the DC community to save our hospitals.

Congress is cutting healthcare funding to pay for billionaire tax breaks, ICE terror, illegal wars, and dangerous big tech. More than 600 hospitals are at risk of cuts and closures across the country. With MedStar Washington Hospital Center's recent postpartum unit closure, the DC community is already feeling the impact of these cuts. NNU, DSA, and other allies are fighting back.

This rally will have live music, free tacos, and other activities. After the rally, we will take action together to deliver a demand to Washington Hospital Center Management to restore the postpartum services that were recently cut. The event starts at 11am and the rally will begin at 12pm. Nurses will also be providing free community wellness checks from 11am to 3pm.
